Profile

Mr. Arnab Chakraborty is an M.S. (by research) scholar in the department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras (Chennai). He is currently working with Dr. Srikrishna Sahu on experimental studies on sprays and atomization in high speed gas turbine engines sponsored by GTRE- DRDO. Previously he did his M.Tech in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture at IIT Kharagpur. Before that, he was a graduate engineer in the Emerson Electric, Noida where he was responsible for designing the power plants. He completed his B.E in Power Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Mr. Chakraborty is the recipient of prestigious S.N.Bose Fellowship for conducting part of his M.Tech research in the U.S.A. in 2017.
